Happily, the new installer as delivered since mid-july 2017 works ***FINE***. The installer of the 2017 version did not work on all my computers (all Windows 10 64bit, maybe something related to the fact i am living in Brazil), and customer support service apparently could not resolve it (but seemed to be ‘responsive’). First I’ll let it run in “autopilot” mode to evaluate how that goes.
I just installed this version (on Windows 10 Pro 64bit with Creators Update), until now everything seems to be fine, but I still need to learn more about it.
